Do you know what a group of octupuses is called…a tangle! Henri, like most octopuses (not octopi!), is a solitary soul and doesn’t tangle with others. But that doesn’t mean he is lacking in love and affection, he possesses three hearts! Not only that, he bleeds blue. And…he never forgets a face.

Description
The link to the downloadable PDF charts will be emailed upon receipt of payment. Provided here are two different versions of the needlepoint chart. One is a traditional block chart and the other a House of Sand & Bone version which shows the thread or thread color as it lies across the intersections of the canvas. With these charts you may choose to directly stitch onto the canvas, or paint the canvas yourself before stitching. Included with the download will be instructions on how to start, suggested fibers, and suggested paints to purchase should you choose to paint your own canvas.

About House of Sand & Bone Charts
Painting your own canvas or stitching from needlepoint charts are ways to deflect some of the high costs of needlepoint. Sometimes going from chart to canvas can be confusing. This is why we have developed a chart that we believe clears up some of the ambiguity. With the beginner in mind, the stitches represented here are the classic needlepoint “tent or continental stitch,” not specialty stitches. Our charts indicate the stitch or thread color as it lies across the canvas intersection alleviating the confusion between intersection and space. Guides mark each inch vertically and horizontally, creating a larger grid that assist the stitcher with placement.
